A community of solo parents celebrating
their dignity and wholeness in Jesus Christ as witnesses to
the power of His Cross and Resurrection, rooted in His Word,
nourished and purified by His teachings and sacraments, and
encountering Him and the virtues of Mama Mary in one another
through a full and faithful commitment to loving
relationships with God, family and Community, renewed and
strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
To heal, restore and transform Solo
Parents and their children within and outside the Hearts of
Jesus and Mary Prayer Community, here and abroad, by serving
as their support group in their brokenness and struggle, and
by providing opportunities for continuous process of renewal
of faith, pastoral care, teachings as well as by encouraging
the disciplines of daily prayer, use of the gifts of the
Holy Spirit, study and meditation of the Word, reception of
the sacraments and regular fellowship and service.
